Salon Art + Design, produced by Sanford L. Smith + Associates, celebrated its landmark tenth anniversary edition at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City from November 11-15, 2021. Spanning vintage, modern, and contemporary design, complemented by blue-chip 20th century and contemporary art, Salon featured nearly 50 leading galleries from around the world.
For the occasion, Sivlia Furmanovich designed an installation of pieces inspired by the Amazon rainforest, presented at the historic, Tiffany-designed Library room within the Park Avenue Armory.
The natural evolution of these objects has now come to fruition in a new line of home objects: stools, mirrors, tables, trays, vases, and bowls. Constantly driven by the desire to create and expand the notions within the field of design, Silvia Furmanovich unveiled an installation that pays tribute to the Amazon rainforest.
Each creation within the collection follows nature’s lead to originate work that is both functional and alluring. Utilizing a combination of both ancient and modern techniques, SF Home is inspired by the abundance of nature and strength of the tropics, expressed in various colors and shapes.
